Jay Leonard Dorado

Jay Leonard Dorado, 81 of Quitman, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2018. He was born on March 7, 1937 in Santa Maria, California to the late Mariano Dorado and Teresa Dorado.
Jay was active in sports his whole life he played football and basketball in high school and was the president his class all four years. He began coaching when his children played sports growing up. He was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather.
Jay is proceeded by his parents, Mariano and Teresa Dorado; son, Jacob Dorado; brother, Robert Dorado; sisters, Olympia Buentempl, and Deloris Caraway.
Jay survived by his wife of 53 years Susan Dorado; children, Nick Dorado and Teresa Dorado; siblings, Rose Mary Dorado, Ermie Ojeda, Mary Ellen Van Nelson, Manuel Dorado; ten grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
A memorial service will be at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 2:00PM.
