On November 29, 2020, Jeffrey Jack Harmon was called home. He passed away at the age of 51. Jeff was born on December 31, 1968, to parents Kay Merritt Moss and Jack Harmon. He attended Greenbrier High School and continued his education at the University of Central Arkansas with a full scholarship for men’s basketball. Upon graduating with his bachelor’s degree, Jeff went into the insurance field and then later in the natural gas field. However, his most valued jobs were being a father and a coach. Through this, he was able to touch the lives of many by stressing the importance of working hard and being passionate in all you do. Though not many understood him, to know him was to love him. He had generous heart and would help anyone in need.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Addie Van and Leaster Merritt and Charles and Vicki Harmon and his step father, Tan Moss.
He is survived by his parents, Jack (Lynda) Harmon and Kay Moss; his three children, Colton (Haylee) Merritt Harmon, Addison Susannah Harmon, and Mikayla Blysse Harmon; his grandson Judge Merritt Harmon; his three stepbrothers Troy Moss, Steve Nickell, and Shannon Earnhart; his two stepsisters Brandy Moss and Wendy Earnhart-Heaslet; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be having a private memorial service to celebrate his life.
