Jeffrey Green
August 12, 1959 — August 7, 2012
Jeffrey Thomas Green, age 52, of Greenbrier, Ar., passed away on
Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at John McClellan Veteran's Hospital in
Little Rock, Arkansas. Jeff was born in Dallas, Tx. on August 12,
1959 to Thomas Roy and Mayrn Estelle Bratcher Green. He joined the
United States Marine Corps in May of 1978, serving until 1982. He
was a rifle marksman and trained in hydraulics and aviation
structure mechanics. Jeff enjoyed playing cards and spending time
with family. He is preceded in death by his parents and
brother-in-law Buford Lee Crawford Sr. He is survived by his
sister, Betty Joyce Green Coffman and her husband Jerry of Dallas,
Tx, sister Carol Ann Green Crawford of Bee Branch, Ar, brother
Douglas Roy Green and wife Nancy also of Bee Branch, sister Linda
Estelle Green Knopp and husband Jackie of Fairfield Bay, Ar.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 11th
at 11a.m. at Project Restoration Church in Greenbrier, Ar, The
services will be officiated by Bro. Kirk Hardy. The family has
requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Wounded
Warriors' Project fund set up at First Service Bank in Jeff's
honor.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Arkansas
Hospice and the doctors and nurses at CAVHS for the care given to
Jeff and the compassion shown to his family and friends over the
duration of his illness.
