Jimmy Scott Bell, 63, of Jacksonville, AR went to be with the Lord on January 27, 2026. He was born on August 19, 1962, in Conway, AR to the late Jimmy and Linda (Shorty) Bell.
Jimmy graduated from Ole Main High School in North Little Rock in 1980 and then went on to graduate from the University of Central Arkansas in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in business. Jimmy worked at the Union Pacific Railroad for many years before he began his own business of Ozark Tactical in Conway; he manufactured and sold guns there. He loved firearms, jeep riding, Harley motorcycles, fishing, and listening to music. But his favorite hobby was being “Papa”, and spending time with his granddaughters. The family will miss his funny stories, his outburst of singing his favorite songs, and the vast amount of random knowledge he shared.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Willis; granddaughters, Avery Willis and Aubrey Willis; and grand dogs, Maverick, Jake, and Pepper.
The family would like to thank Bailey Patterson of Superior Senior Care; she did an excellent job at taking care of all the needs he had and went above and beyond and became more like family near the end.
There will be a memorial graveside on March 14, 2026, at the Hawthicket Cemetery in Enola, AR at 11:00 am.
