Jimmy Don Roberts, 72, of Damascus, Arkansas passed away on January 1, 2023. He was born on May 6, 1950 in Conway, Arkansas to James and Syble Roberts.
A veteran of the United States Air Force, retired Supervisor from Virco and member of Copperas Springs Baptist Church, he was a light and a joy to all who knew him and was lovingly referred to as “BimBon” by those who adored him the most.
BimBon will forever be remembered as a jokester, as he loved to entertain and bring happiness to everyone around him, especially during Christmas time. He enjoyed planting and tending to his garden each summer, caring for his chickens watching Gunsmoke and spending time with his family.
He is preceded by his parents, James and Syble Roberts; and brother, Jerry Roberts.
Jimmy Don is survived by his loving wife of 45years, Freda Roberts; children, Tim Stell and wife Sheri of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Kim Moore and husband Pete of Greenbrier, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Renee Menzie and husband Erik of Conway, Candace McArthur and husband Steven of Damascus, Gray Stell of Fort Smith; five great grandchildren, Addy McArthur, Maggie Menzie, Anna McArthur, Marley Kate Menzie, Jackson McArthur; brothers, Jeff Roberts, and Ryan Roberts; sisters, Judy Haney and husband Dennis, and Vicki Allen; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 12:00pm on Thursday, January 5, 2023 Wilcox Family Funeral Home with burial following to Republican Cemetery and Brother Gary Burdin officiating.
