Joe Alan Freeman

Joe Alan Freeman, 75, of Quitman went to be with the Lord on July 8, 2024. He was born on July 14, 1948 to S.A. Freeman and Mary Ellen (Smith) Freeman.
He enjoyed stopping and talking to people while taking his dogs for a ride in his side-by-side. Joe was a big man that had a big heart. We miss him but know he is now free from the pain and suffering.
He is preceded in death by his parents, S.A. and Mary Ellen Freeman, sister Freda Dyke and brother-in-law Bud Holland.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Rose Ellen Freeman, his dog Jack, brothers Larry (Paulette) Freeman and Rayburn Freeman, sisters Sammie Holland, Kathy (Ritchie) Adkisson and Joyce (Tommy) Merritt, and a host of other family and friends.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff that took care of our Joe!
