John George Stanko Jr. 68 of Conway died February 22, 2013. He
was born October 20, 1944 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania to John
George Stanko Sr. and Elizabeth Suschak Stanko. Mr. Stanko
was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church
in Conway. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed taking cruises and
along with his wife was gatekeeper at Maumelle Park and Toad Suck
Park.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister JoAnn Marie
Stanko Cates.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years Linda Stanko, daughters
Jackie Lynn Rackley (Johnny) of Greenbrier, Kari Langley (Dell) of
Conway and Nicole Evans (Wayne) of Bigelow. Other survivors include
grandchildren Morgan Nicholson, Devan Nicholson, Lexi Rackley,
Chandler Langley, Lane Langley, John Evans, Aubrey Evans, Addison
Evans, great grandchild Kaydn Hodges, mother in law Alberta
Morgan of Tarentum, Pennsylvania along with a host of extended
family and friends.
A rosary will be at 6pm Tuesday February 26, 2013 at
Bishop-Griffin Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will follow
at 7pm with Father L. Warren Harvey officiating.
The family will gather at the home of Johnny and Jackie Rackley
before and after service at 47 Arrowhead, Greenbrier.
