Joyce Ann “Queen of Sass” Butler, age 73, of Vilonia went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2018 She was proceeded in death by her father Alex Boyce; her mother Vird Boyce; infant son Milton Olgesby; brothers, Delbert and Thomas Boyce; sisters, Betty Goss, Carolyn Benton, and Nina Whittmore; two great grandchildren, Lillian, and Waylon Still.
She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years John Butler of Vilonia; children, Kerya Taber of Little Rock, Michael Ray of Vilonia, Aaron and David Butler of Conway, Brian and Jennifer Butler of Little Rock, Kevin Butler of Scott; one brother, Mike Boyce of Little Rock; grandchildren, Brandy Still, Randi Kizer, Taylar Green, Keith Butler, Madeline Butler, Kayla Ray, Brittany Ray, and Samantha Butler; great grandchildren, Kaithlyn Worstell, Dale, Paige, and Aiden Showaltes, Samantha, Hannah, and Carson Still, Jayden and Austin Hagderty, Devin, Orlando, and Quiera Gresham, and Ezra Butler, Auroa Butler; great great grandchildren, Bentley Williams.
Joyce was a devoted and loving mother she was very proud of her family and loved being “nanny” to all of her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Joyce loved holidays and family get together, and chance to spend time with her family was important to her she would spend hours cooking and preparing for her company.
Joyce was known for her feisty yet good sense of humor. To known her was to love her she will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will be September 30, 2018 at the home of Joyce and John Butler, 69 Crooked Creek Road, Conway, AR 72032 at 3:00pm.
