Karen Myers

Karen Myers (Grambo, Bo) went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, September 20, 2026. She was born in Mannheim, Germany. She came to the United States at nineteen and had a successful career as a manager at K-Mart. She loved spending time with her family, reading her ESV/German Translation Bible, and fishing.

She will be remembered for making everyone feel special and her grateful attitude to all who assisted her. She grew up during WWII in Germany and remembered being cold and hungry. She ensured her home was comfortable and there was plenty of food. I remember her saying, “You eat good.”

She is preceded in death by her aunt and uncle who raised her, and son, Gary.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her husband/caregiver, Dan Sams, son Ron Myers (Elizabeth), daughter Lorina Ostolaza (Hector), grandchildren Matthew Myers (Toni), Anthony Santiago (Sarah), Miranda Zelaya (Tulio) and three great-grandchildren.

Wilcox Family Funeral Home & Crematory is administering the final arrangements.
