Katherine Ann Brucks, age 59, passed away in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 16, 2024. She was born in Little Rock on August 27, 1964, to Jimmie Brucks and Sheilah Smith.
Katherine is survived by her sons, Tommy (Belle) of North Little Rock and Jimmy (Hannah) of Hot springs and her three grandchildren Hailey, Alana, and Cullen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie Brucks and Sheilah Smith.
Katherine was a loving mother to her two sons and an adored grandmother to her three grandchildren. She was a hard worker and had a stern belief in having a strong work ethic which she instilled into her children and grandchildren. She was not only dedicated to her family but spent a life devoted to caring & advocating for animals. To know Katherine was to know a kind, generous and caring soul. As someone recently said, “she collected people”; once you got to know Katherine you were immediately a part of the family. She knew no stranger and it showed in every aspect of her life. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she encountered. A memorial service for close friends and family will be held at a later date.
