Kathy Ann Hunter, 72, of Quitman, Arkansas passed away on November 12, 2025. She was born in Mattoon, Illinois and was born to Herman Molno and Marjorie Craig Molno.

Kathy was a devoted mother whose greatest calling in life was being a homemaker — a role she embraced with strength, grace, and unconditional love. She poured her heart into raising her boys and keeping her family grounded, always putting their needs before her own. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort, and constant support, a reflection of the love she carried for those closest to her.

In addition to her dedication at home, Kathy worked at Heritage Living Center in Conway, Arkansas, where her kindness and compassion touched the lives of many. She also served faithfully at Saint John’s Lutheran Church in Mattoon, Illinois, contributing her time and gentle spirit to its community.

Kathy loved her family deeply, and that love was the center of everything she did. Her presence, her guidance, and her unwavering devotion will be cherished and remembered always.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Claudia Fornshell and Janet Black; one son, Mark Lee Hunter; two grandchildren, Jaxson and Memphis Wiltermood.

Kathy is survived by father of her children, Chuck Hunter; sons, Steve (Shayne) Hunter, Bob Hunter; five grandchildren, Chris Hunter, Samantha (Dustin) Wiltermood, Amber Winans, Hailey Hunter, Henlee Hunter; nine great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Memorial service will be at 2:00pm on November 21, 2025, at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
