Larry Gene Allen, 79, of Greenbrier, AR went to be with the Lord on October 26, 2025. He was born on July 13, 1946, in Monticello, AR to the late, Lawrence and Lucy Allen.
Larry raised horses, fished, and hunted. He was a good ole’ country boy and was always seen in boots and a cowboy hat.
He is preceded by his parents, and his wife, Joyce Pierce Allen.
Larry is survived by his daughter, DeDe (Hugh) Alexander; his son, Jimmy Allen; grandsons, Jarrett (Molly) Alexander and Justin (Erica) Alexander; and his two great grandsons, Harrison Alexander and William Alexander.
The family would like to request in lieu of flowers; donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
