Larry Preston Martin, age 73, of Quitman, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Thursday May 19, 2016;
He was born December 6, 1942 in Evansville, IN. to the late Preston and Ruth Knight Martin.
Larry Also known as "Power Wagon" had many passions in life, one of his was the love of cars
it was estimated that he had some 200 plus cars from 1959, Larry was a lead singer of a band and could play many instruments,
Larry had a wonderful memory, he was the family historian, he had a love for animals and took in every stray dropped off,
He had a gift of telling jokes, his pride and joy was his boys and the grandchildren they created wonderful memories
spending time outdoors camping at Cove Creek campsite.
He was proceeded in death by one grandson, Isaiah Moses Martin; one son in-law Elmer "Buster" Brandon;
one brother Tony Ross Martin and one sister, Patricia Borne.
Larry is survived by the love of his life wife, Ragenia; four boys, Larry Jr. "Jay Foxx", of Alma, AR.,
Stacy Ross Martin and wife Vickie of LaFayette, GA., Tracy Delane Martin and wife Tania of Nags Head, NC.,
Casey Dion Martin and wife Stephanie of Buford, GA.; one daughter, Kelly Lynette Brandon of Quitman, AR.;
grandchildren, Matthew Martin, Josh Quinn, Ethan, Sloane and Devyn Foxx, Kyler Ross, Kalista Reanne, Kadin Ross and Kailyn Raine Martin,
Tylor James Logan, Triston Fitzgerald Martin, Ruby Angelina Sowers and Izabel Aurora Martin;
two sisters, Betty Kupperschmidt and Deborah Martin and a special nephew, Jonathan Reynolds..
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday May 21, 2016 at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church 62 Mt Pleasant Rd. Quitman, Arkansas.
with Bro. Tim Reynolds and Bro. Stan Reynolds officiating. Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to help with the final funeral expenses.
