Larry Glen Owens Sr.

Larry Glen Owens Sr., 75, of Greenbrier, passed away in his home Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Larry was born in Conway, Arkansas on September 26, 1946 to Arliours Owens and Bracy Jane Pate Owens.
Larry was a mechanic, welder and worked at Polyvend Inc. for many years until his retirement and of the Baptist faith.
Larry’s passion was for outdoors, gardening, 4-wheeler riding, and camping. He was an avid fishermen and hunter but most of all he enjoyed being at deer camp all season with family, and long-time friends and members of the Rhodes Hunting Club.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Arliours and Bracy; brother, Randy Owens; and brother-in-law, Buck Smith.
Larry is survived by his wife, Anita Owens; five siblings, brother, Ronnie Owens; sisters, Judy Rains (Larry), Debbie Smith, Patty DeLoach (Mike), and Mikki Rodmen (Junior). Larry is also survived by his children, Larry Jr. (Shelly), Terri Starkey (Jason), Lonnie and Michael. Eight grandchildren, Courtney French, Jacob Owens, Joseph Owens, Kevin Burkett, Shane Burkett, Cole Starkey, Laci Owens, Casey Owens, and ten great-grandchildren.
Graveside will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Brown Cemetery with Brother Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating.
