Laura Lenore Hollingsworth 97 of Clinton died December 1, 2010.
She was born December 5, 1912 in Indianola, Iowa to Clinton W. Cox
and Laura Starbuck Cox. Mrs. Hollingsworth worked as a bookkeeper
and was of the Jehovah's Witnesses Faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband of 42
years Robert Tharp, second husband of 3 years Cecil Hollingsworth,
children Roberta Tharp, Janet Finley, Charles Tharp, Robert Tharp
Jr. and siblings Corrine Butler, Maude Wilkins, Russell Cox, Lester
Cox and Forester Cox.
Survivors include son Jim Tharp of Bee Branch, and daughter
Ramona Taplin of Clinton. Other survivors include 14 grandchildren
and numerous great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm Sunday December 5, 2010
at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Clinton with Brother
Roy Jones officiating.
