Lewis Jay Cardin, 75, of Holland, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on October 5, 2022. He was born in McGintytown, Arkansas on December 25, 1946 to the late Edd and Tressie McGinty Cardin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don Cardin of Florida; sisters, Ella Dean Cardin of McGintytown, Emma Reed of Greenbrier; daughter, Tressie Cardin Pruss and infant son, Lewis Jay Cardin Jr.
His survivors are his loving wife and partner of 44 years, Sandra “Sandy" Applegate Cardin of Holland; sons, Lewis Jason Cardin, and Sky Skaggs; daughters, Lisa Gail Ridgedell of Mississippi, Toni Pruitt of Vilonia; Shawna Shannon of Little Rock; brother, Damon (Ann) Cardin of Guy; sisters, Dorothy Gail Black of Greenbrier, Maydean Hammett of Greenbrier, Nona Byrd of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Travis Widsom, Bailey Pruss, Carl Wayne Ridgedell Jr., Danille Morris, Trinity Cardin, Logan Breann Gwathney, Katie Beth Pruitt, Emily Pruitt, Brian Shannon, Brad Shannon; several great grandchildren, lots of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Graveside service will be at 2:00pm on Friday, October 7, 2022 at McGintytown Cemetery with an hour prior visitation.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to McGintytown Cemetery.
