Lewis D. Bigelow

Lewis D. Bigelow, 79, of Clinton, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015. He was born on Saturday, October 12, 1935 in Clinton, AR, to the late William H. and Lizzie (Kirkendoll) Bigelow.
He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Joyce (Hooten) Bigelow of Clinton, son, Justin Bigelow of Clinton; two daughters, Shawnda Bigelow of Clinton and Michelle Bigelow Mathis and husband Dewayne of Fairfield Bay; one grandchild, Kaleigh Bigelow of Fairfield Bay.
Lewis is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2015 at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
A viewing will be held at 10:00a.m. with a funeral service following at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Clinton General Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Pee Dee Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Kirkendoll, Joe Newman, Glen Griggs, Dewayne Mathis, Lelan Brock and Arnold Wildhagen.
Services are entrusted to Bishop-Crites Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
