Linda Sue Burroughs, 75 of Damascus, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2026.

Linda was a woman full of spirit, determination, and love for her family. Known for being stubborn and hard-headed in the best of ways, she stood her ground, spoke her mind, and lived life exactly the way she wanted. Those who knew Linda knew she had a strong personality, but behind that strength was a heart that deeply loved the people closest to her.

For 18 dedicated years, Linda worked as a server at Wagon Wheel, where she became a familiar and friendly face to countless customers. She took pride in her work and built many lasting friendships during her years there.

Linda enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She loved playing card games, trying her luck gambling, and making memories on trips to the casino with her husband—something that became a treasured family pastime. Though she was a homebody at heart, Linda also loved getting out to enjoy a good meal, especially at her favorite places, Wagon Wheel and Huddle House.

Linda also had a passion for yard sales and going to auctions. She loved the thrill of finding treasures, buying unique items, and reselling them. It brought her joy to hunt for bargains and share her finds with others.

More than anything, Linda loved spending time with her family. Whether sitting around playing cards, sharing meals, heading to the casino, or spending the day out shopping at yard sales and auctions, those moments meant the most to her. Her presence brought laughter, honesty, and unforgettable memories that her loved ones will cherish forever.

Linda leaves behind a family who will miss her dearly and carry her memory with them always. Though she may be gone from this earthly life, the love, strength, and countless memories she gave will never be forgotten.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Manning.

Linda is survived by her husband, Johnny Burroughs; son, Johnny (Trisha) Burroughs Jr.; daughter, Teresa Manning; grandchildren, Bryce Lee Burroughs and Aryca Grace Burroughs and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
