Linda Sue Jackson

Linda Sue Jackson, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on
October 26, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on September 11, 1948, in Dunlap, TN, Linda was
known for always being a comical relief in the lives of those who were around her. She was
preceded in death by her devoted husband, Roy Jackson, her parents, Henry Snyder and Effie
Snyder, and her siblings Billy Snyder, Henry Lee Snyder, and Teresa Vaughn.
Linda was a dedicated homemaker for the 59 years that she was married to Roy and they had
three daughters and a bonus son. She is survived by her three cherished daughters: Verna
(Jimmy) Reynolds of Greenbrier, AR, Missy Laster of Cary, NC, and Trish (Joe) Cole of
Greenbrier, AR, as well as her bonus son Tyrel (Samantha) Sloan of Wooster, AR. She was a
proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, holding each of them close
to her heart.
A cornerstone of a large and loving extended family, Linda leaves behind her sisters: Henrietta
Kirkland, Mary Snyder, Dorothy Snyder, Sheila Fowler, and Debbie Spencer, along with her
brothers: Charles Snyder, Jimmy Snyder, Danny Snyder, Earl Vaughn, Calvin Snyder, and Andy
Snyder. Her nurturing spirit and vibrant personality enriched the lives of her many relatives and
friends.
Linda’s presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of her life will be
held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Wilcox Family Funeral Home, where family and friends
will gather to share memories and honor her legacy. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. and services
will begin at 11:00 a.m.
