Linda Louise Carroll Weatherly-Seay, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 8, 2025, in Greenbrier, Arkansas.

Born on February 15, 1941, in Arabi, Georgia, Linda lived a life defined by strength, independence, and resilience. As the daughter of a military father, her early years were spent living around the world, attending seventeen different schools, and ultimately graduating in 1959 from high school in Poitiers, France. It was during her time in France that Linda discovered her passion for hairstyling, a calling that would guide her throughout her life. These experiences helped build the adaptability and determination that remained constant in all that she did.

A talented and driven businesswoman, Linda was the proud owner of her own hair salon. She had a natural gift for making others feel beautiful, both in how they looked and how they felt, and it was this quality that made her work so meaningful to her. Through hard work and determination, she built a successful sixty year career and earned the respect of her clients and community.

Outside of work, Linda found joy in the outdoors and the simple pleasures of life. She loved camping at Bennett Springs, where she would canoe down the river and fly fish on the dam. She enjoyed a bowl of ice cream, listening to music, singing, and watching movies. She also loved a good game of Texas Hold’em, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and relaxing with her beloved dog, Jack.

Linda will be remembered for her wit, her toughness, her independence, and her unwavering will. She lived life on her own terms and leaves behind a legacy of perseverance, pride, and purpose that will continue through the family she loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Seay; her brother, Mack Carroll; her parents, John and Maxine Carroll; and her grandparents, Mack Plummer and Belinda Allison.

Linda is survived by her children, Larry Weatherly (Beth Weatherly) and Tamma Weatherly-Wilkerson (Tim Wilkerson); her grandchildren, Kayla Martin (Alyna Ramirez), Britney Brown (Sean Brown), Paxton Weatherly, and Ty Weatherly; and her great-grandchildren that she adored, Blake, Connor, Mariahlyn, Myles, Mason, and River.
