Loma Bensley

Loma Bensley 70 of Atkins died January 10, 2012. She was born
April 26, 1941 in Rinard, Iowa to Fay Jarred VanMeter and Irma
Stephenson VanMeter. Mrs. Bensley was of the Christian Faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years Harvey Bensley of
Atkins, sons Brian Bensley of Dallas Center, Iowa, Bruce Bensley of
Atkins, Arkansas, Bret Bensley (Alenn) of Dallas Center, Iowa,
daughter Tammy Bensley (Allan Peterson) of Scotland, Arkansas and
brother Dick VanMeter of Center Ridge. Other survivors include four
granddaughters, Victoria Smith (Burt) of Whitehall, Heather Perkins
(Andy) of Atkins and Brandy Bensley of Jacksonville, and Amanda
Amick (Jason) of Jonesboro, three great grandchildren and a host of
other family and friends.

Visitation will be 5:30pm Monday January 16 at Union Grove Free
Will Baptist Church in Atkins. A memorial service will immediately
follow at 6p.m. with Brother David Bishop and Brother B.J. Duvall
officiating.
