Margaret Jeanne Acklin, 91, of Conway passed away Monday, July 31, 2018. She was born October 1, 1926 to the late Richard Miley, and Iris (Watkins) Miley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edwin Acklin; son, John Bruce; great grandson, Aaron Tutt; and sister, Joy McClearon.
Margaret is survived by sisters, Ruth Hibbs, and Jacquelione Humphreys; daughter, Joan Evans; son, James Acklin and daughter-in-law Pam Acklin; grandchildren, Laura (David) Campbell, Rhonda (Nolan) Allen, Tanya (David) Fitzgerald, Jenny Nokes, Mandy (Bobby) Jeanson, Lisa (John) Campion, and April (Adrian) Alexander; eleven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren, one great great great grandchild; and a host of many nieces, nephews, and friends.
An open visitation will be on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 9:00AM to 5:00PM at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home in Greenbrier. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:00AM at Oakland Cemetery in Holland with brother Johnny Hoffman officiating.
