Marshall Wayne (Buddy) Huss, age 58, passed away on Saturday,
May 12, 2012, after a long illness. He was born in
Harrisburg, AR, on November 12, 1953, to Marshall Leon Huss
(deceased) and Margaret Francis Gray Huss. During
childhood, he moved with his family to Memphis, Tennessee, where he
eventually met his wife of 38 years, Mary Gail Burcham
Huss. They had four children, Alisa Gail Huss Sanabria
(Nino), Michelle Jane Huss (deceased), Mary Deanne Huss Riggin
(Tim), and Marshall Anthony Huss (Ashia), and five grandchildren,
Jocelyn Mackenzie Sanabria, Peyton James Riggin, Krystina Michelle
Riggin, Kathryn Faith Sanabria, and Evelyn Hope
Sanabria. He had three sisters, Francis Marie Huss
Brillhart (deceased) (Eddie), Lola Rena Huss Stacks (Don), and Lisa
Ann Huss Gray (Tony). He also leaves a host of
neices and nephews. He was greatly loved and will be
missed by his family and friends.
Buddy was an artist, musician, craftsman, entrepreneur, and
jokester. He loved his family
dearly and always looked forward to their visits.
He also enjoyed watching Arkansas Razorback football
with Uncle Don, bass fishing with his friend Jeff,
and designing and building wood furniture in his backyard
shop. He was a classic car enthusiast and enjoyed
oldies, bluegrass, and country music.
A Celebration of Life, officiated by Bro. Danny Fagala and Bro.
Martin Jameson, will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 506
Hwy 225 West, Greenbrier, AR, on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at 6:00
p.m. During the service, there will be a time for
family and friends to share their special memories, stories, and
good times had with Buddy. If you would like to share, we
invite you to join us in this walk down memory
lane. Visitation with the family will follow
in the Family Life Center.
Additional visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral
Home, 5668 Poplar, Memphis, TN, on Saturday, May 19, 2012, from
1:00 to 3:00 p.m. with a short graveside service, officiated
by Bro. Ray Ingle, immediately following.
