Martha Louise Luce

It is with great sadness that I share the passing of my beloved mother, Martha Louis Luce, at the age of 85.

Martha and my dad (Gary), who preceded her in death, chose me through adoption and gave me a life filled with love, adventure, and unwavering support.

Anyone who knew Martha knew her sweetheart. She had a special gift for encouraging others, making people feel seen, and sharing kindness wherever she went. She loved deeply, gave generously, and touched countless lives through her compassion and caring spirit.

She dearly loved her son-in-law, Danny, and was grateful for the love and care he brought into our family. She also cherished her church family at Crosspoint Baptist in Greenbrier, Arkansas. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she treasured the friendships, fellowship, and encouragement she found at church and with our ladies Bible study group, with the dearest of friends.

While our hearts are heavy with loss, we are grateful for the many years, memories, and blessings we shared with her. Her legacy of love, encouragement, kindness, and faith will continue to live on in all of us who were fortunate enough to know her.

Though we will miss her dearly, we rejoice in knowing that she is now home in Heaven with Jesus, reunited with my dad and free from pain and sorrow. Our faith gives us comfort and hope, knowing this goodbye is not forever.

We would appreciate your prayers for our family during this time. We take comfort in the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the promise that we will see her again.

Rest peacefully, Mom. Thank you for choosing me, loving me, encouraging me, and showing me what it means to love others well. You were deeply loved, and you will be greatly missed.
