Martha "Rosemary" Wilcox Profile Photo
Martha Rosemary Wilcox, age 86, of Springhill, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on November 19, 2024. She was born on February 19, 1938, in Conway, Arkansas to the late Mary Juanita Ledbetter.

Rosemary was known for being classy and sassy from head to toe, she loved looking beautiful with her clothes, nails and jewelry. But, the most beautiful thing about her was her smile, it would light up the room when she walked in. She had a compassionate heart, that loved deeply and gave freely. Rosemary loved the holidays; decorating and having the family around her table was always a favorite time for her. She never missed dying Easter eggs and putting everyone’s name on them.

Rosemary was a founding member of LifeSong Baptist Church, where she was very active in worship. She was a great prayer warrior; she could often be heard whispering a prayer while sitting in her pew for someone who had been announced with a need. She was very faithful in every service from teaching WMA lessons to Bible school. She attended Bible school with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rosemary taught a class at Bible Study Fellowship after she retired.

She had a love for teaching and was very good at it, she taught for ten years at Vilonia School District before moving to Greenbrier School District, where she taught for eighteen years before retiring. Rosemary loved every student dearly and wanted to see them succeed. Although teaching was her passion, her real love was for her family. The love she displayed for Freddie would become a legacy passed down to her kids and grandkids. Rosemary also loved farm life, she enjoyed sitting on her back porch with her family and watching the cows graze in the pasture or hay being put up. She supported Mary Jane, Freddie Mark and her grandkids in every school function and programs, church activities, as well as many community activities they participated in. She took great pride in her home and family and made sure they were both well taken care of.

Rosemary loved to talk. Heaven is a lot louder and has an Estee Lauder aroma now. But oh, the reunion she must have had with Freddie, and her precious Levi.

Rosemary will be greatly missed, but her memories and love will live on for a lifetime. Our hearts are truly broken from her departure from this life, but we rejoice that she has been set free, and is in His presence.

She has now joined Freddie; her son-in-law, Tommy Fulmer; and grandson, Levi.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Mary Jane Fulmer; son, Freddie Mark (Trish) Wilcox; grandchildren, Cody (Sara) Fulmer, Lana (Matthew) Moix, and Katie (Michael) Hussman; great grandchildren, Dani Fulmer, Ryder Moix, Beau Hussman, and Andi Rose Hussman; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, November 25, 2024, at LifeSong Baptist Church.

Funeral will be at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at LifeSong Baptist Church with Brother Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating and the burial will be at Springhill Cemetery.

The Family would like to thank the entire Greenbrier community for their love and support the last several days. We are so blessed to call Greenbrier, home.
