Marvin Rex Lord

Marvin Rex Lord, 80 of Greenbrier, Arkansas passed away on September 23, 2026. He was born in Saint Charles, Missouri to Alvin and June Lord.

Rex was a proud United States Air Force veteran who served during the Vietnam War. During his time in the Air Force, he worked as an airplane mechanic, beginning a lifelong career centered around his incredible mechanical ability and talent for making things work.

For most of his professional life, Rex worked as a CNC Programmer Consultant. He was exceptionally talented at what he did and took great pride in his work. His knowledge, creativity, and ability to solve problems allowed him to create and manufacture parts for a remarkable variety of applications. Among the many things he worked on were parts for B-1 bombers and cams used in Dale Earnhardt’s race car. His work contributed to countless projects and showed the remarkable range of his skills and knowledge.

Rex had a mind for figuring out how things worked and a talent for turning an idea into something useful. Whether working on aircraft, race cars, or the many other projects throughout his career, he approached his work with skill, precision, and dedication.

His life was defined by service, hard work, ingenuity, and an extraordinary ability to create and solve problems. The things he built and the knowledge he gained throughout his career are an important part of the legacy he leaves behind.

Rex’s life was one of purpose and accomplishment, and the impact of his work will continue to be remembered through the many things he helped create throughout his remarkable career.

He is preceded by his parents, Alvin and June Lord; grandchild, Dallas Lord.

Rex is survived by his children, Jeff (Katie) Lord, Andrea (Michael) Muser, Tim (Brandi) Lord; grandchildren, Peighton (Josh) McCollum; Dalton Lord, Devin Griggs, Mitchell (Mackynzie) Wood, Mackenzie (Craig) Doig, Bailey Lord, Samantha Meidell, Dane Lord, Dylan (Kylie) Woods, Kerri (Tyler) Bridges, and William Muser; great grandchildren, Beau McCollum, Faith McCollum, Koah Lord, Meadow Wood, Oliver Doig, Declan Doig, Hazel Bridges, and Baylor Bridges; brother, Raymond Lord; and a host of family and friends.

Family will be doing a private service at a later date.
