Mary Lue Carr, 89, of Wooster, AR passed into Heaven on January 24, 2023, after a long and beautiful life. She was born on January 16, 1934, to Hal Lee and Mary Emma Barrick Talley in Sherwood, Oklahoma.
She was a kind, caring, and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman of faith who faced every challenge with courage and grace. She was a source of inspiration to us all, and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose life she touched.
Mary Lue was preceded by her parents; husband, Bill; brothers, Junior, Jessie, and Bob; one sister, Veda; her son, Billy. She leaves behind her sister and brother-in-law, Emma and Bob Weeks; daughter and son-in-law, Veva and Randy Hartsfield; special friend, Jeanette Hurley; grandchildren, William (Loretta) Carr, Whit (Joni) Carr, Vivianna (Max) Mendoza, and Kirby Kohler, 11 great-grandchildren, and countless adopted children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Greenbrier Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral will be at 10:00am on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Greenbrier Free Will Baptist Church with burial following to Republican Cemetery.
