Mary E. Barnes

Mary E. Barnes, 95, of Greenbrier went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday March 18, 2015. She was born August 25, 1919 in Blair, Nebraska to the late Arthur Morris Johns and Harriett Garfield Bradley Johns. Mrs. Barnes was a member of McGintytown Church of God. She spent many years caring for children as a babysitter, leaving a profound impact on many young lives.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Orland Barnes and nine siblings.
Survivors include her son Robert William Barnes of Little Fork, Minnesota, grandson Daniel Barnes of Madison, Wisconsin, and great grandchildren Derek Barnes, Dylon Barnes and Layla Barnes all of Wisconsin. Other survivors include her longtime caregiver Wendy Johnston, along with her church family and many extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Monday, March 23, 2015 at McGintytown Church of God with Pastor Tom New officiating.
