Mary Louise Holloway, 74, of McGintytown went to be with the Lord on May 21, 2024. She was born in Conway, Arkansas on June 22, 1949 to J.W. McGinty and Ottie Louise (Brinkley) McGinty. She retired as a switchboard operator from the Conway Human Development Center. She loved to crochet, read and was a very caring and loving individual. She was known as Granny Mary, and was famous for her cookies!
She is preceded in death by her parents, J.W. McGinty and Louise McGinty; brother, Bobby Jay McGinty; and loving husband of 41 years, James Boyd Holloway Jr.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Christy (Doug) Brown, Melissa (Evan) Holloway Bell and Shelly (Rance) McNeil; grandchildren, Chad (Jessica) Brown, Trey (Tabitha) Brown, Kelsie Raffield, Lindsey (Andrew) Ivey, Taylor (Brock) Wallace, Katie Hosman, Cody (Amanda) Hosman, Malorie McNeil, Makayla (Thad) Kilpatrick, Pete (Lexi) McNeil; 18 great grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 2:00pm on Friday, May 24, 2024, at McGintytown Bible Church with burial following to McGinty Cemetery and Brother Lonnie Craig officiating.
