Maryjean Murphree, 67, of Morganton, Arkansas passed away on June 1st, 2023. She was born on February 19th, 1956 to Edward and Dolores. She was raised in Chicago, Illinois with her four sisters and one brother. At 15 years old, her family relocated to Arkansas where she met the love of her life, David.
She and David built a beautiful life with their daughters, De and Amanda. She worked hard to make sure her family had everything they needed and went above and beyond to make the simple things in life special.
Maryjean enjoyed drinking her coffee black (all day long), days outside working in her yard, quilting, laughing with her sisters, and loving her grandkids unconditionally.
Maryjean is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Dolores Gleich, sister Carol Wilkins, and brother in law, Paul McGee.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, David Murphree; daughters, Delores (Dallas) Clark and Amanda (Bobby) Swofford; grandchildren, Baylee Clark, Syndi (Trace) Fryar, Easton Swofford, and Riley Swofford; step-mother, Billie Gleich, sisters, Monica McGee, Patricia (Joe) Ogle, Carleen (Dennis) Arinello and brother Edward (Myong) Gleich; a large extended family and a circle of cherished friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Wilcox Family Funeral Home. Family and friends are welcome to attend the burial service following the visitation.
