Melinda Sue (Fason) Hunt
June 9, 1965 — February 16, 2023
Our Dear Mother and Nana, Melinda Sue (Fason) Hunt was called Home to Heaven on February 16, 2023, while surrounded by family and her beloved dog Little Girl who never left her side.
Those who will continue her legacy and honor her memory are her three children, Daniel “Mack” Hunt and his wife Jessica, J.B. Hunt, Adrianne (Hunt) Wells and her husband Richard; her precious grand babies, Taylor Hunt, Mackenzie Hunt, Nash Wells, Penelope Wells, Morgan Richards, Mia Hunt, and Malakai Richards, a great grand baby, Daxton Vanostran, her big sister Carla (Fason) Ward and her husband Michael, her baby brother, Junior Fason and his wife Tammy as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many many friends whom she loved and cherished deeply.
She was reunited in Heaven with her Momma and Daddy, Carthal and Wanda Fason, two brothers, Bubba Fason and Tommy Fason and her fiancé Donald Maples.
Melinda loved hummingbirds, which is fitting. Hummingbirds stand for beauty, devotion and love; these little birds are respected as fierce fighters and defenders of their territory. This was Melinda!
To some, sighting a hummingbird signals that challenging times are over and healing can begin. Melinda has been redeemed and set free and is now resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus, healed and whole. Let’s rejoice!
Family and friends are welcome to attend her service, which will be held at West Side Baptist Church in Greers Ferry, AR, February 25 from 2:00-3:30 P.M.
