Melissa Jean Phillips, 57, of Guy, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2026. She was born in Mexia, Texas on November 12, 1968, to Bennie Phillips and Sharon Smith Burton.

Melissa is proceeded in death her father, Bennie Phillips; brother, Matthew Phillips.

Melissa is survived by her mother, Sharon Burton; three children, Brandile (Lance) Lewis, of Corsicana, Texas, Cody Aragon of Corsicana, Texas, and Dale (Kayla) Carter of Conway; grandchildren, Ellie Hamm, Judy Lewis, Carlie Jones, and Nova Carter; siblings, David (Tina) Phillips of Mount Vernon, KY, Jackie (Kim) Phillips of Odessa, TX; stepmother, Jean Phillips of Groesbeck, TX; finance, Jerry Brooks of Paragould, AR and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 6:00pm on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Wilcox Family Funeral Home with memorial service following at 6:00pm.
