Mollie Katherine Parks, 36, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away on March 2, 2025.

Is survived by her mother, Diane Booth, and her brothers, Ben (Cassie), Andrew (Laci), Michael (Sarah), Sam (Krystal) and Nate (Morgan) and 11 nieces and nephews; the Diana to her Ann Shirley, Abigail Larson; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mollie is preceded in death by her father, Gates Booth.

Mollie blazed her own trail as a self-taught makeup artist, turning her passion into a thriving career largely in NYC. Her talent was sought after by brands like Free People, Adidas, and Anthropologie, who repeatedly invited her to collaborate. Her artistry also extended to the world of cinema, where she contributed her skills to over eight short and feature-length films and had grown a particular passion for special effects makeup.

She studied at University of Arkansas completing her BS in apparel studies, studied fashion merchandising in London at American Intercontinental University, and Jamileh Karman School of Fashion Design.

Mollie was a true creative from an early age. She had a love for art, fashion, music, and film, and approached life with a determination to work her dreams into existence: and she did. From her early fascination with language arts to her film studies in high school and her discovery of make-up and fashion, her creative journey was a lifelong exploration.

Mollie was known for having a large laugh that both lifted spirits and turned heads. She possessed a unique gift for finding those in need of love and welcoming them into her world. Mollie was a source of inspiration to many, creating a safe space for those struggling with mental illness or feeling marginalized. Mollie was gifted at encouragement, making people feel seen and capable, and leaves a legacy of kindness.

Mollie lived life to its fullest, a lifelong learner with a flair for the dramatic. She embraced every moment, squeezing every ounce of life that she could.

She leaves behind her beloved dog, Knuckles, and NYC, where her dreams came true.

Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
