He is preceded by his mother, Laveda Hunt; son, Josh Woodward; sister, Jeanette Hunt; grandparents, Orval “Cottontop” Bowen, Inez Bowen Riley, Lenora Hunt and Marion Hunt.
Monte is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Sonja Hunt; children, Dustin (Katherine) Hunt, Brooke (Billy) Briley, Michelle (Devin) Tubbs; eight grandchildren, Michael (Sidney) Woodward, Lily Britton, Ben Briley, Bowen Briley, Presleigh Tubbs, Avery Hunt, Elias Tubbs, Hendrix Hunt; great grandchildren, Karter Woodward; father, Monroe Hunt; siblings, Marty (Terri) Hunt, Jackie (Donald) Vaughn, June (Rob) James; and a host of family and friends.
Memorial service will be at 10:00am on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Jesus Name Church in Plainview, Arkansas with burial following to Salem Cemetery.
