Monte John Munyan, 55 of Greenbrier, Arkansas passed away on October 7, 2020. He was born in Wolf Point, Montana on December 29, 1964 to Louise Antoski.

Monte was in the 82nd Airborne as a Medic in the United States Army. He served two years in Iraq as a truck driver for Kellogg Brown and Root. He worked six years at Faulkner County Sheriff’s office as a Licensed practical nurse. He was a member of the Pentecostals of Greenbrier. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

He was preceded by his mother; father-in-law, Jack Anthony and mother-in-law, Ruby Anthony; and one nephew.

Monte is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Karen Munyan; two children, Kara Jones of Brookland, Arkansas, and Rikki (David) Norris of Greenbrier, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Rebekah Jones, Jennah Jones, John Jones, Jaylyn Jones, Lydia Jones, Nathan Jones, Hayden Norris, Samantha Norris, David Norris Jr. and many extras that loved poppy too; siblings, Janice Moses of Wellpinit, Washington, Gayle Rivera of Soldotna, Alaska, Denise (Robert) Louie of Kutenai Reservation, Canada, and Robert (Cynda) Munyan of Billings, Montana; numerous nieces and nephews; a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm at the Pentecostals of Greenbrier on Sunday, October 11, 2020 with Pastor Burns officiating.
In lieu of flower memorials can be made to the Pentecostals of Greenbrier Youth Fund, PO Box 785, Greenbrier, Arkansas 72058.
