Morris Vernon Flowers Jr.

Morris Vernon Flowers Jr. 91 passed
away on the morning of Monday August 5,2013. He was born May 5,
1922 to Morris V. Flowers and Lois DePue Flowers. Mr. Flowers
studied engineering at Boulder University in Colorado, and then
went to work for Sperry Flight Control Systems in Phoenix, Arizona.
He was an Army veteran and served his country during World War II.
In 1988 he retired and moved to Greenbrier, Arkansas. His hobbies
included fishing, golf, bridge, chess and solitaire. He was loved
by many and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his
parents and sister Virgene Older.
Mr. Flowers is survived by his wife
of 45 years Gaynelle Sullivan Phillips Flowers, his five children,
Gregg Steven, Bradley Lynn, Teresa Carol, Milton Calvin and Laura
Virgie. Other survivors include fifteen grandchildren and ten great
grandchildren.
A private family service will be
held in Nebraska at a later date.
