Patricia Clarice Johnson

Patricia Clarice Johnson, 82, of Quitman went to be with the Lord, on February 27, 2026. She was born on March 28, 1943, in Conway, AR, to the late Boss and Christine Sims.

Patricia loved all things flowers; planting, gardening, displaying, and sharing. She loved to cook, travel, and paint. Patricia loved the Lord and it showed all around her; she had the brightest servant’s heart. The most important thing to her was her family; she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded by her husband of 49 years, Emitt; her parents; siblings and in-laws, John Edward Sims, Dennis (Joyce) Sims, and Faye (Tommy) Glover.

Patricia is survived by her children, Gary (Regina) Johnson, Larry (Reita) Johnson, Debbie (Randy) Trammell, and Cindy (Richy) Lewis; grandchildren, Cody (Amber) Johnson, Rusty Johnson, Christy (Josh) Ferrell, Clay Trammell, Dustin (Lucy) Trammell, Rachel McDaniel, Krystal (Derek) Barnett, and Michael (Maggie) Lewis; 14 great-grandchildren; her best friend, Beth Hensley; 3 special nieces; and several close family and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 4th at 2:00 pm at Howard General Baptist Church in Quitman, AR, with a visitation an hour prior at 1:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at McNew Cemetery.
