Patrick Francis Burk

Patrick Francis Burk, lovingly known as Pat, entered into eternal rest on August 10, 2026, at the age of 88, surrounded by his family at his home in Conway, Arkansas.

Pat was born on June 9, 1938, in De Graff, Minnesota, to Harold and Mary Burk. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Mary Ann Reents, and his brother, Thomas Burk.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Darlene Burk; his children, Debbie Eckert, Lori Obiaka (Chuks), Mike Burk (Melissa), Tim Burk (Tammee), and Brad Burk (Nikki); and his eight cherished grandchildren: Justin Swinarski, Ashley Suboda, Ace Obiaka, Ego Obiaka, Matt Burk, Mackenzie Burk, Bailey Burk, and Blane Burk.

After graduating from Benson High School in 1956, Pat married his high school sweetheart, Darlene Todd Burk, in 1957. He dedicated 43 years of service to Union Pacific Railroad as a machinist before retiring in 1999.

Pat will be remembered for his unwavering faith, deep love for his family, quick wit, and remarkable gift for storytelling. He treasured time spent with family and friends at the lake in Minnesota, enjoyed hunting with his sons, and never missed an opportunity to share a laugh. His Catholic faith was a guiding force throughout his life, and he was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway, Arkansas.

Above all, Pat will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose kindness, humor, and devotion left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
