Paul Loren Chapman of Greenbrier, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on May 21, 2023. He was born on September 24, 1958 in Shelbyville, Illinois to Loren and Beulah Chapman.
Family was his most treasured possession. He loved his kids and grandkids hard. We were his world and he made us promise to stick together.
He worked on the railroad for 41 years. Pap enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going to the lake. Where his kids and grandkids were, that’s where you would find him. The outdoors was his favorite thing as long as we were there. He could fix anything and was the best machinist around. He took anyone one in that needed help or just some guidance. Always had a solution for everything. He may have left but he left a legacy. Carry it on. He blessed a lot of lives and will continue to do that.
He was preceded by his parents, Loren and Beulah Chapman; grandparents, Morris and Ferna Chapman and Bill and Gladys Lamb; sister, Lorna Blount; brother, Daniel Chapman; and father-in-law, Ward Nohren.
Paul was survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Debbie Chapman; son, Clint (Lacey) Chapman of Greenbrier, Arkansas; daughter, Crystal (Rusty) Barnett of Greenbrier, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Loren Chapman, Hunter Chapman, Jackson Chapman, Benson Barnett, Bentley Barnett, and Briella Barnett all of Greenbrier, Arkansas; brother, Rex (Peggy) Chapman of Cowden, Illinois; and a host of family and friends.
