Pauline Rust

Pauline G. Rust, age 84, passed peacefully at Salem Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Conway, Arkansas, on Sunday, January 3, 2016. Born December 4, 1931, Pauline was proceeded in death by her father and mother, Vexter and Mary Garner, and her husband, Leonard Rufus Rust. Pauline was a Registered Nurse beginning her career supporting the US military both home and abroad. She worked for many years at Booneville Community Hospital and eventually transferred her nursing experience to the Booneville Human Development Center where she retired. After the passing of her husband, she moved to Greenbrier, Arkansas, to live near her son and family. Pauline had a love for animals and enjoyed bird watching as well as the company of her dog and cat. Pauline enjoyed fishing and was an avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan rarely missing a televised football or basketball game.
Memorial services for Mrs. Rust will be held Friday, January 8, 10:00 AM at Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenbrier, AR. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, PO Box 221, Greenbrier, AR 72058.
