Petra Maria Bourn

Petra Maria Bourn, 59, of Greenbrier Arkansas passed away on September 30, 2022. She was born in Überhern, Germany on January 5, 1963 to the late Herrmann Fischer and Rosi Marie Frisch Fischer.
Petra studied architecture for six years in Kaiserslautern, Germany. She worked in that field for about 20 years until she had her first child. After that she picked any job she could find to provide for her family.
Petra pursued many interests. She enjoyed going out for walks, taking care of animals, traveling, and reading. She rescued and made a home for many animals including our three cats; Toby, Izzy, and Felix. She was a good gardener and kept a bright and immaculate home. She has traveled all from the mountain tips of France to the Mayan trails, and she never missed an opportunity to learn something new. Petra had the caring heart of a mother and the will of a lion. She was a very open person that would never back away from a conversation, and her humorous personality would light up a room.
She is survived by her child, Jo Bourn; sister Judith Fischer; cousins, Michel Frisch, Anne Lenz; and host of family and friends.
Celebration of life will be at 10:0am on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Greenbrier Church of Christ, 12 Wilson Farm Rd, Greenbrier, AR 72058.
