Phyllis Palmer passed away on July 4th, 2025, in Greenbrier, AR at the age of 86 surrounded by family.

She was the fourth child born to Thomas and Nodia Ray on February 11, 1939, in Rogers Texas and attended school in Academy Texas.

Phyllis was an avid Razorback fan, loved baseball, softball and Rodeo. She could be found in the bleachers cheering for her children and grandchildren in their favorite sports throughout the years.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Billy Joe and Donald Ray, her sisters Mary Lynn Richards and Gloria Moore.

She is survived by her sisters, Beverly Northern and Karen Ray, her four children, Tony Palmer (Mary Kay), Debbie Palmer, Steven Palmer and Rae Dean Burford and her grandchildren, Jamie (Kelly) Sullivan, Dustin Palmer (Jennie), Jacob Palmer, Cody Lewis (Sarah), Rodey Burford (Emmalee) and Laken Burford. She was blessed with 10 Great Grandkids.

The family would like to thank the staff of Magnolia Landing for their wonderful care and support during the last few months.

At Phyllis’s request there will not be formal service but rather a small gathering of friends and family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Bethlehem Food Pantry (bethlehembbc@gmail.com)
