Powell 56 of Greenbrier died January 10, 2014. He was born October
25, 1957 in Scranton, Arkansas to Glenn Powell and Wanda Hunter
Powell. Mr. Powell worked as a mechanic, most recently at Tires for
Less. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is
preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and a
granddaughter.
He is
survived by his wife Geneva Anderson of Greenbrier, sons Otis
Powell of Greenbrier, Barry Veazey of Wooster, daughters Kristen
Powell of Conway, Denise Smith of Greenbrier, and Tonya Tindell of
Greenbrier, brothers Allan Powell of Van Buren, Bubba Allen of
Oklahoma, Doug Allen of Oklahoma and Ronnie Allen of Texas, sisters
Roxie Partain of Georgia, Sheri Sands of Texas, Shirley Brown of
Wooster, Bugs Hensley of Saltillo and Lindy Byard of Greenbrier.
Other survivors include grandson Randal Powell of Conway, three
great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
A memorial
service will be held at 2pm Saturday January 18, 2014 at 164 Cash
Springs Road, Greenbrier.
