Reece Thacker

Reece Lee Thacker Jr., 68 of Conway, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, October 31, 2017. He was born on October 18, 1949 in Selma, Alabama to the late Reece Lee Thacker Sr. and Floy Vaughn Thacker. He joined the U.S. Army after Conway High School and served until he was medically discharged in 1984. He was a Christian man who loved his family and his Country. He is survived by his wife of 16 years Mary Elizabeth, Son Kristopher, Brother Steven (Nancy) Thacker, Grandson Dillon Young, Nephews Robert Thacker and Samuel Phifer, Nieces, Marcie (Thacker) Caldwell, Julie (Phifer) Bedow, and Jennifer (Thacker) Corrigan. Reece loved fishing, traveling, and going to garage sales. Most of all, he loved his family. He will be missed by ALL of his family and friends. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 2pm at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
