Carl Mize

Rev Carl Mize of Big Flat, Arkansas went to be with Lord Saturday, December 4, 2021, at his home with his family by his side. He was born, November 30, 1929, in Big Flat, Arkansas to the late Dexter Mize and Halie Treat Mize. He was a lifetime member of Round Mountain Community Church. He was a business owner for 60 plus years before he retired as a mechanic and was minister of the gospel for over 72 years.
He is survived by four children, Janet (Tommy) Nichols, Kenneth (Jenay) Mize, Terry (Sondra) Mize and Randy (Gale) Mize. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Kaye Ramsey (Nubbin). Survived by 2 sisters, Jewel Freeman and Lorene Southern. Preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Mize of 50 plus years; a son Jerry Mize; a granddaughter, Twilla Stricklin; a brother Elvin Mize.
Services will be Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 12:00 PM, visitation will be at 11:00 am until the time of the service at Round Mountain Community Church near Big Flat, Arkansas.
Burial will be Pordue Cemetery, in Onia, Arkansas. Memorials can be made to the Round Mountain Community Church.
