Richard Edgar Baad Sr.

Richard Edgar Baad Sr., 88, of Greenbrier, Arkansas went to be with the Lord, Monday, April 14, 2025, at home. He was born November 13, 1936, in Canton, Ohio to the late Norris Edgar Baad and Hilda Mae Bowser Baad.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife and mother of his children, Clara Jane Gloss Baad, and his brother, Homer Baad.
He is survived by his beautiful and loving wife, Rebecca Johnson Baad; his five children, Richard E. Baad Jr. (Peggy Sue Baad), Renee Jayne Davis (Richard Davis), Drew Charles Baad (Dawn Baad), Todd Allen Baad (Debie Baad), and Ricky D. Noblitt (Audra Noblitt). Also missing their beloved Grandpa are 9 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren; his twin brother, Robert Baad of Florida; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Mr. Baad was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of the Nazarene at Greenbrier, Arkansas. He was a graduate of East Canton High School in Canton, Ohio and was a retired mason.
A celebration of his life will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Pleasant Hill Nazarene Church in Greenbrier with Reverend Roger Evatt officiating, and Brother Everett Lybarger will read the obituary. The burial will be in Johnson Cemetery on Johnson Lane near Centerville.
Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Hill Nazarene meal on the hill program.
