Richard Earl Booth Jr., 78, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2024. He was born on November 23, 1945 in Clinton, Missouri to Richard Earl Booth Sr. and Molly Jane McElroy Booth.

Richard graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1969 with his electrical engineering degree, he later retired in 2000 from Entergy as an electrical engineer where he worked at Nuclear 1 in Russellville. He had an amazing love for the outdoors and continued hunting throughout his adult life and was a member of Browns Creek Hunting Club in Monticello, Arkansas. He had a sense of humor that drew people from all walks of life in and everyone who knew him loved him dearly. Richard deeply loved his family and the Lord; he was a fine Christian man that everyone knew he loved the Lord more than anything else and he mentored young people who needed help in their life. He will be truly missed by everyone who crossed paths with him, and his memories will be cherished.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Sr. and Jane Booth; his special labrador dog, Grace; siblings, Gates Booth, and Catherine “Kate” Wilson.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Jane Booth; children, Eric (Stephanie) Booth, Shawn (Brandi) Booth, Wendy Coy; grandchildren, Meghan (Jake) Williams, Connor Booth, Madison (Aaron) Anderson, CaraBeth Booth, Cade Booth, Kassie (Cody) Danner, Ashlee Mitchell, Tiffany Booth, Johnathan Mitchell, and Skyler Coy; great grandchildren, Ellis Williams, Milo Williams, Maisy Williams, Beckett Williams, Westley Anderson, Haize Danner, Harlynn Danner, Hawkins Danner; siblings, Phyllis (Jack) Carter; our cavalier king charles spaniel dog, Nicholas; and a host of family and friends.

A visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.

Funeral will be at 10:00am on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Grace Methodist Church, 1075 Hogan Lane, Conway, Arkansas 72034, Reverend Hershell Richardson will be officiating.
