Richard Wilson Myhand, age 77 of Quitman went to be with the Lord Friday, March 20, 2026. He was born October 2, 1948 in Pine Bluff to the late Hagan Wilson Myhand and Elva Lorene Myhand.
He worked as a funeral director for 35 years.
He is survived by wife of 52 years, Bea Myhand; children, Becky Hoover (Ben), Melissa Evans (Jason); grandchildren, Allison Warden, Zac Evans, Brittany O’Neal, Lacie Walls; four great grandchildren; sister, Sheila Kulbeth; brother, Larry Myhand. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Micky Myhand.
A visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Wilcox Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2026 at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy.
