Ricky Lynn Ray, 59, of Pine Bluff died October 11, 2014 at Wadley Hospital in Texarkana Texas. Mr. Ray was born June 14, 1955 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was self-employed. He served in the USMC in 1972 and was a member of Wings of Love in El Dorado, Arkansas.
Mr. Ray is preceded in death by his parents Otis Orlin Ray and Louise Paige Ray, sisters Mary Jackson, Patricia Studdard and Paula Moore, brothers James Ray and Michael Ray.
Survivors include his wife Cheryl Lynn Powers Ray of Texarkana, Texas, step sons Bruce Daniels Jr. of Ecuador, Jeremy Daniels of Pine Bluff, daughter-in-law Shannon Daniels of Pine Bluff, sons Lonnie Castello of Tennessee, Rickey Nelson of Arizona, Rickey Lee Ray of Rison, Aarron Ray of Perryville and daughter Amanda Stephens. Other survivors include brothers Lonnie Ray and wife Louise of Pine Bluff, Bennie Ray and wife Carla of Oran, Missouri, sister Donna Bradley of Southaven, Mississippi, and grandchild Hayden Daniels, along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday October 17, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Graveside services will be at 2pm Saturday October 18, 2014 at Fitzhugh Cemetery in Pine Bluff with Pastor Rex McDaniel officiating.
The family will be gathered at 7395 Jericho Road in Pine Bluff.
