Robert Stephen Grady

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Robert Stephen Grady of Greenbrier. He left this life after struggling for a year and a half trying to recover from a stroke. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend. Stephen, 42, passed away at his home in Greenbrier

Stephen was born on June 3, 1983, in Memphis Tn to Robert F Grady and Mary Grady-Sternberg. He attended Guy Perkins High School. After graduation, Stephen proudly served in the United States Navy for four years, where he developed a strong sense of duty and honor.

Stephen was a kind and compassionate soul. He had a great sense of humor and could always make people laugh with his quick wit.

Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Robert F Grady, his paternal grandparents, Marveline and Murray Grady, and his maternal grandfather, Sidney Shaw. He is survived by his grandmother Mary Shaw of Conway, AR. His mother, Mary Sternberg, and bonus dad, Dennis Sternberg, of Greenbrier, AR. A sister Amber Jones (Casey) of Prairie Grove, AR. A sister Denise French (Matt) of Rio Vista, CA. A niece Scout Blythe French. A nephew and name sake Grady Everett French. Along with a multitude of friends.

Celebration of life will be at 2:00pm on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
